Warwick is best university in West Midlands while Coventry retains title of modern university of the year.
Coventry’s two universities have been honoured in a prestigious new national publication.
The University of Warwick is the top university in the West Midlands, according to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016.
And Coventry University has been named the modern university of the year nationally for the third time in a row.
The University of Warwick has climbed two places in the league table to sixth. Its previous best was fifth place in 2009.
Last year Warwick won the guide’s University of the Year award and it has also just been named among the world’s top 50 universities in yet another prestigious league table – the QS annual World University Rankings
